Register for the CR Society Conference!

.
The next exciting Conference of the Calorie Restriction Society International will be held May 18-21 at the Hilton Tucson East in Tucson, Arizona, close to the University of Arizona’s main campus. Come join your fellow CR Society members to learn the results of cutting-edge CR science. Interact directly with key researchers in the fields of CR, metabolism, and the retardation of aging. Learn more from scientists and fellow practitioners about how to optimize your CR practice. And enjoy the beautiful Tucson spring!

Our confirmed speakers include an exciting selection of researchers drawn from the worlds of CR, metabolism, and lifespan:

Thomas Seyfried, PhD, Professor of Biology, Boston College: "Cancer as a Mitochondrial Metabolic Disease: Implications for Novel Therapeutics"

Jeff Volek, PhD, MD, Professor, Department of Human Sciences, Ohio State University: "Nutritional Ketosis with or without Caloric Restriction as a Metabolic Therapy"

Richard Miller, MD, PhD, Professor of Pathology and Director of the Paul F. Glenn Center for Aging Research, University of Michigan: "Diets, Drugs and Mutants that Slow Aging in Mice - Are There Shared Mechanisms?"

John R Speakman, PhD, Chair in Zoology at the University of Aberdeen: "Is the Effect of Dietary Restriction Due to Calorie Restriction or Protein Restriction?"

William Sonntag, PhD, Reynolds Oklahoma Center on Aging, University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center: "Insulin-like Growth Factor (IGF)-1 as a Mediator of the Effects of Moderate Caloric Restriction on Lifespan"

Janko Nikolich-Žugich, MD, PhD, Co-Director Arizona Center on Aging, University of Arizona; Chairman of the Board, American Aging Association: "Impact of Caloric Restriction on Functional Immunity with Aging"

Michal M. Masternak, PhD, Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences, University of Central Florida; Competitor, Methuselah Mouse Prize: "IGF-1 and Body Size as Modulators of Lifespan"
