My name is Thomas and I started a CR diet using a method developed by an Argetinean doctor called Maximo Ravenna. After consulting a nutricionist, doctor, physcologist and gym teacher I started on the diet. Anyone have references on this method. It is an 800 calorie eliminating carbs from high glycemic sources (rice, bread, pasta, etc). My concern is potential side effects which they claim only happens in the first few days (potental headache, difficult to concentrate....) I have chosen to loose weight and want to do it in a healthy form.

? If so, and based on what you've written, it sounds like you are more interested in weight loss than longevity. Is that right?

 

Eliminating carbs from high glycemic sources is a wise choice for many people, but 800 calories per day would be tough to maintain.

 

Make sure you run your diet through a nutrition analysis program, like CRON-O-METER (https://cronometer.com/).
