Gordo Posted February 25, 2017 Report Share Posted February 25, 2017 I have one small HEPA filter that runs pretty continuously, and one huge HEPA filter (4 foot by 2 foot) that I bought secondhand from a cleanroom lab that does replacements of all equipment well before the filter is spent. That one was a good deal, but it weighed almost 100 lbs and the UPS guy dropped it, causing some damage. However I use the big one pretty much only as a laminar flow cabinent for science experiments, microscopy, and mycological work which requires extremely clean conditions to prevent contamination and/or artifacts.
