I'm new to this site.  Tonight when I heard about Calorie Restriction Practitioners on the news, I was thrilled!  I've been following this practice for over 5 years.  I am a female and eat 1100 calories per day.  I allow myself one "cheat night", Saturday night when I eat and drink everything I want.  This has worked well for me.  I'm 5' 2 1/2" and weigh 116 pounds consistently.  I never never have to worry about "fat clothes", guilt and I'm very healthy with exception of genetic hyperlipidemia.   I swear by this lifestyle.  I also don't exercise because I spend my time on my career and learning, my two passions.
