Todd Allen
Keto is considered a CR mimetic by many and many eating keto find CR and fasting happen spontaneously without effort much of the time. But I suspect the organ meats such as heart and liver which are dense with mitochondria and the bio-active forms of vitamins and many other compounds help those with diseases of broadly disrupted gene transcription by reducing the need for conversion processes allowing cells to better support their mitochondria. The most obviously beneficial things for me have been #1 cutting carbohydrates, #2 heat stress and #3 sous vide beef liver. Although maybe the beef liver benefit for me is due more to having the bad forms of both the MTHFR and MTRR genes vs having SBMA.
