Cucumber water as a water alternative...

I know everyone says you should get at least 8 cups of plain water a day for health but I absolutely despise the taste of plain water.


I am wondering if I put a cucumber in water and let it sit overnight will this count as my daily intake of water or does putting cucumber in it for flavor destroy the benefits? I am guessing I'll be fine.


Also, does drinking green tea count as water intake? What about decaf green tea?
