Alex K Chen
I used to have hemoglobin A1C of like 4.8 before I started to finally get aggressive with my diet. Traditionally I've had average glucose levels in the lower 90s (fasting is obvs lower). But over the past week, I've finally done #veganketo and which then shows average glucose values that have gone down from ~90 to ~70. What are your average glucose levels? I drove mine down to 68-75 on #veganketo https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5609489/ shows positive lifespan-extending effects of a ketogenic diet. You can combine this with rapamycin+metformin. I feel like this triple combo is the perfect way to *optimize for lifespan* without the suffering of CR. mccoy
Inquiline, the results are good but veganketo is pretty stoic as a diet! If I'm not wrong, it's the regimen of another member, mechanism, who calls it 'the spartan diet'. What do you eat exactly? Tofu products? lots of nuts and green-leaved vegetables and EVOO OK. More?
