What are some lower-calorie tasty foods/snacks easily accessible to those who don't have the time to cook vegetables? [or that substitute easily for "high-calorie cravings"]

I have some examples but.... Not having the time to cook vegetables? Time is a big issue to me but simple steam-cooking in a microwave oven takes almost nothing for some vegetables.

For example: frozen spinachs. You take the bag out of the freezer, you put the spinachs into a container (I use a large ceramic bowl), you pour some water, you put a lid on it (suitable to the microwave oven), you set the time, you wait and that's it. Preparation is practically zero.

Fresn Bruxelles sprouts: I just rinse then, put'em in a dish, pour a little water, set another dish on top, and there they go in the microwave cooking themselves in a few minutes.

I can cite lots of fresh vegetables which take very little to little preparation. All frozen veggies are practically ready. And there are also fresh salads in bags, ready to be dressed. Carrots only need to be rinsed and are an excellent raw snack. Fennels only need some cutting and rinsing.

If you don't have a kitchen or are on the go, that's a different issue.
