compNeuro
Hi All. I am on a CR diet, specifically, I am following Dr. Fuhrman's "Eat To Live" diet. I am getting a lot of cruciferous greens, which obviously fights cancer. However, my Vitamin K (I use cronometer) is always sooooo high. I looked around on the internet, and while most sites says that there is no toxicity but there can be a tingling in the extremities, I also found that there can be too much blood clotting. Does anyone have any info on this? Aedan
FusionHalo
I get well over 1000% of the RDA for vitamin K a day (also mostly from brassica veggies). My doctor says it's nearly impossible to have issues with too much vitamin K as long as it comes from natural sources.
prettyinpink
What if I get too much of vitamin K because of taking supplements? Is that a problem?
FusionHalo
I would not use supplements, except maybe vitamin D. Certainly a vitamin K supplement would be unnecessary.
