What are the cleanest countries/provinces to import food from (low heavy metal + plastics contamination levels + high environmental standards)? Healthiest soils?

British Columbia/Canada, Hawaii, Cuba? Japan >> China/Southeast Asia. Berries from northern states? (the far north is generally cleaner on average, but it's too bad that they tend to be used for grain)...

Ideally not downstream from sources of pollution (microplastics are often found when wastewater is used to water crops). British Columbia has added advantage of being unusually warm for its latitude
