Do tobacco plants have longevity-promoting phytochemicals (despite all the other crap they have)?

Astonishingly, some books, like James Clement, even say that some people who are naturally resistant to the "bad" effects of smoke/air pollution may *benefit* from the phytochemicals in tobacco plants... It's underinvestigated given how much $$/attention/research has been put into studying tobacco plants...

I still would not use tobacco, but it's worth paying *some* attention if only to "free-ride" off of all the research already done on tobacco..
