Alex K Chen
Some flour still has fiber in it, but something about the wholesomeness of flour may be destroyed. Also the GI of flour is usually higher. [I rarely eat flour, but everything else equal there are some decisions that can be made on the margin]. mccoy
Whole wheat flour, including fiber and germ, has always traditionally been considered a very healthy food. Then the low carb narrative appeared, also the GI narrative and so on would tend to demonize flour. In my opinion, whole flour is pretty healthy in young and glucose-tolerant individuals, whereas moderation should probably be exercised in more aged and intolerant individuals. IgorF
I am using small amounts (10g) of cannaflour in the salads the same way as other powder stuff. Just because it is cheap and formally nutritious, however I have doubts about nutrients availability using it that way. In any case it shouldnt make any harm thus worse to play with. Alex K Chen
Omg cannabis has SO many antioxidants Compare that to even whole milled grains. Ground flour particles can be a hundred times smaller—even smaller than the cells themselves—so nearly every one may be ruptured open, spilling their contents early and leaving our gut flora in the lurch.7548 That’s why we should try to de-flour our diets. Whole grains are good, but intact whole grains (groats) are better. Edited April 7 by InquilineKea
